Terms of Service
Welcome to Energy Go. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. These terms are designed to ensure transparency, consumer protection, and compliance with the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program and Australian Consumer Law.
1. Services Provided:
Energy Go provides energy-efficient upgrades including air conditioners and weather sealing, along with consultation, installation, servicing, and assistance with VEU rebate processing. All services are subject to product availability, eligibility, and program rules.
2. VEU Program Compliance:
Energy Go operates in accordance with the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program requirements. Rebates are available only for eligible customers, approved products, and compliant installations, and are subject to verification and audit by the relevant authorities.
3. Eligibility & Customer Declarations:
Customers must provide accurate and complete information regarding property details, existing systems, and residency. By proceeding with our services, customers confirm that all information supplied is truthful and understand that incorrect information may affect rebate eligibility.
4. Rebate Application & Assignment:
Where applicable, customers agree to assign their VEU rebate entitlement to Energy Go or its approved partners in exchange for an upfront discount or rebate benefit. Rebate values may vary based on eligibility, product type, and current VEU program settings.
5. Pricing & Payments
All pricing will be clearly communicated prior to installation. Any rebates applied will be disclosed upfront where applicable. Additional costs may apply if site conditions, product upgrades, or compliance requirements change.
6. Installation & Access
Installations are carried out by licensed and qualified professionals in accordance with VEU technical standards and Australian regulations. Customers must provide safe and reasonable access to the installation site.
7. Audits & Inspections
Customers acknowledge that installations completed under the VEU program may be subject to random audits or inspections by program administrators. Customers agree to cooperate with any reasonable audit requests as required under the program.
8. Warranties & Liability
Product warranties are provided by the manufacturer, and installation workmanship warranties are provided by Energy Go or its installation partners. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights under Australian Consumer Law.
9. Cancellations & Changes
Cancellations or changes must be communicated as early as possible. Cancellations after confirmation or installation commencement may incur costs, subject to program rules and supplier agreements.
10. Privacy & Data Use
Customer information is collected and used solely for service delivery, rebate processing, compliance, and audit purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to Terms
Energy Go reserves the right to update these Terms of Service to reflect changes in legislation, VEU program requirements, or business operations. Updated terms will be published on our website.
